I loved Edwards' first trilogy but had a hard time getting into this first of her second trilogy. Part of it was my personal dislike of romances that start with the two main characters hating each other. I felt like the conflict between the hero and heroine was forced. That said, the writing is good, the look at the life of professional chefs and kitchen staff is interesting, and the side characters are all well-rounded and fun to read about.

Wow I mean wow.... Love this book I just got it the mail from St. Martins as a prize and I couldn't put it down. A wonderful romance story with smoking hot cooks. Totally must read you will fall in love with all the characters okay maybe not Tori and Oliver but for sure everyone else. Jules and Max story had just enough steam not to burn.. I enjoyed this book my frist from Louisa Edwards and I'll admit I can't wait to read more.. Keep up the wonderful writing.
This is the first book I have ever read by Edwards and I will definitely read more. This was fun and touching at the same time with great side characters. It's Iron Chef with lot of romance and family thrown in.
