This book was very different from all the other Hannah Howell books I have read. I really liked the Vampire aspect of it. Hannah Howell wrote the first story and I loved the story of Heming he was very interesting. However Lynsay Sands did not hold my interest as much as Hannah Howell did. Her story was a little silly at the end which was disappointing. There was two months missing from her characters story where she skipped from one chapter they are riding for the kings court to then she is alone in her own keep two months later and she is thinking of everything that happened during the last two months. I really don't care for it when an author does that to me I feel cheated out of the story.

Highland Thirst was an enjoyable read. The two stories were fused nicely together, and could be read as two stories. I had actually read the last story first, and then the first. I have already found another read by these two impelling authors.

I think that Lynsay Sands and Hanna Howell did a wonderful job of writing these stories and making it go side by side. I thought the cousins would know that there was danger going into the inn. But then there wouldn't be a story.I thought that the women in this story shouldn't haven't been too trust. Since they had been abused. Overall I would give this book a 3.5 rate.

Hannah Howell and LYnsay Sands have done it again! I love these "Highland vampire" novels of their's.

This installment consists of two cousins (vampires) who get captured because apparently they are soulless demons. However, the captors don't want them dead they want to find the reason for their unnaturally long life. They are tortured unmercifully during their captivity and rescued by woman being forced to marry against their will.

I really like the way Hannah Howell describes the Highlands of Scotland as if you were actually there with them. Lynsay Sands writes in such a fashion that you experience everything that both the hero and heroine are feeling. The action starts on page one and doesn't let up until the end. Very well written with a satisfying conclusion that ties up all the loose ends and gives you that HEA ending.
