A very good story about two families in a terrible feud. Kathleen Morgan did well with the characters. Sarah and Cord are on different sides of this often violent feud, but something draws them together. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
irst, I enjoy Kathleen Morgan's writing. I also liked the characters Sarah, Cord, Nick, et al.. The lesson was forgiveness and that was clearly delivered through the main characters. However, the romance side of it was severely lacking. There was no building up to loving one another, it was just one day they were fighting the next they were getting married. The physical attraction was apparently the most important aspect of the relationship.
Honestly, I was wondering if Nick and Sarah wouldn't be the ones getting together since he clearly had a handle on forgiveness and leading a Godly life.
I'll continue to read Morgan's books, but, in my opinion this wasn't one of her better ones.
