(GEEZER ALERT - This review written by someone 40+ years removed from middle school) Well, I picked this up after reading the first one a couple of years ago - the humor and the writing is just the same as it was with the original, what a terrible place for the character to be stuck for 8 books!
The book is another great book by the author, Jeff Kinney. My daughter couldn't put it down. Another great book about a boy, Greg as he goes through middle school. Other characters include Greg's brother, and his best friend Rowley.
It must be hell for a literary character to be stuck as a young adolescent for such an unnaturally long time just because his series is so popular.
