This book is a delight for anyone who likes to crochet sweaters. The illustrations are excellent and the directions are easy to follow. There are sweaters for all occasions and for the entire family. If you like to crochet you will find this book very helpful and easy to follow.

Generally speaking, I am pleased with the book, but I wish that I had known before ordering it that many of the patterns require some knitting. I am not a knitter. The title implies that the patterns are exclusively crochet patterns.
For a crocheter who also knows how to knit, this would be an excellent resource. If one only crochets, then the number of useful patterns in the book is rather limited.

Although the styles in this book are somewhat dated, there are lots of great ideas to be found here--color combinations, techniques, ways to modify existing patterns, etc.
