This isn't a really long King book, but still suspenseful. Maire Winningham is an excellent voice to tell the story - the right amount of tension at just the right spots. As always with King, the thing I find the scariest about his books, is that they are contemporary and believable - the plot could happen to anyone. The "Boogey Man" just might be your neighbor!
