The Ghost Road is the conclusion to Pat Barker's World War I trilogy. In the closing months of World War I, Dr. William Rivers treats the mental casualties of the war. Billy Prior, one of his patients, returns to France, and goes back to a war that he no longer believes in.
I highly recommend this book!
