The cover implies a better book (like the Kim Harrison books). Not very romantic for a "supernatural romance book" -- the bad guys all have degrading S&M sex, the good guys have "true love". Not a very good example of this genre.

You'll like this if you have an interest in Celtic mythology, but for me it was disappointing. Poorly written. Although it had interesting elements, at times the story line seemed contrived. I am a highly critical reader, and after studying the craft of writing it's highly possible my standards were set too high.

It definitely is more erotica than romance. The book did drag a little bit but it was intriguing enough for me to continue on the series. It's also a little confusing in the beginning since you have to sort out who is who and all the rules of the world, but that's to be expected for a first book in the series. The plot was okay.
The bad girl gets all the hot erotic scenes so when it comes to Hawk and Silver's love scenes, they were almost too tame. Some master and servant play and S & M so if you squeamish about that stuff, it's not the book for you. And somehow towards the end, I was kind of rooting for the bad girl to kick butt. Have no idea how that happen.
Don't know if it was worth spending a credit or money on. I got this book from the library. It didn't dazzle me but if you are looking for something to pass the time that's kinky, it's not bad.

Heavy into paranormal magic, very HOT with fantasy setting. Well matched, strong characters with a mission, battles and all kinds of sizzle.

This book is great.........and hot, hot, hot. Loved the characters and the story. Silver and Hawk are great. Can't wait for the next in this series, "Seduced by Magic", with Copper, Silver's sister.
