Follow Me Down A Novel
Author: Shelby Foote
A mesmerizing novel of faith, passion, and murder by the author of The Civil War: A Narrative. Drawing on themes as old as the Bible, Foote's novel compels us to inhabit lives obsessed with sin and starving for redemption. A work reminiscent of both Faulkner and O'Connor, yet utterly original.

Really wanted to like this, I admire Mr. Foote's Civil War knowledge very much. This starts out okay,, and I like the different points of view of the various characters. But it starts to drag about half way through. Not sure what I was supposed to get from this book, but I just didn't get it.
