I can't count the number of times our family turned to the Fiske Guide as we tried to sort through hundreds of college choices. Especially good to see what majors are strongest where, what schools are rated tops for financial aid, etc. We ended up ruling out several schools based on what we learned from Fiske - saved ourselves a few futile college visits. For instance, neither of our children wanted to attend a school which had fraternities and sororities, and Fiske was how they sorted that out. Despite the "new edition" every year, most of the descriptions remain the same from year to year.
