An easy and enjoyable read about the actions of the men of the 82nd Airborne in Normandy. Reads almost like a memoir as it follows the men in training, reading for the jump and in combat.

While there are a few maps, a few more detailed maps of the individual unit actions would have contributed to an understanding of the role these men played and the ground they had to contend with.
