An interesting analysis of how Roosevelt prevailed over his various 'enemies' during his first two terms. While I do not entirely agree with all the author's conclusions, I was encouraged by the author NOT taking the position that Roosevelt was entirely in the right. Some of the negative statements the author made about Roosevelt were in keeping with the new revisionist history that Roosevelt was not exactly the best president that we ever had.
