More Romance novel than I expected, and while a good story with a good ending, it was a little predictable.

SPOILER ALERT!!!
This is about domestic abuse, when I realized that I just skipped around with it (the parts I completely skipped over were the 'letters' to Ellen DeGeneres--so stupid), I can read about murder, serial killers and the blood that goes along with those but I cannot read about domestic abuse
I feel bad for any woman that doesn't recognize that she needs to get out if it's happening to her but no one can live their lives, maybe because it is a heart wrenching situation for any woman and child that it isn't the kind of story I want to read
At the very end is a note from the author and be sure to read that even if, like me, you don't read the entire book, again SPOILER HERE---this is based on the author's parents and what their situation was like and how it turned out which I will tell you was on a good note
