It's attractively put together with lots of cute graphics to break up the text, but the text is sometimes the problem. Most of it is common sense and some of it is misleading. I am involved in dog rescue and have had over 60 dogs in my "pack" over the years (I rescue senior dogs, so they often don't live more than a few years -- or months -- after they join our household.) My experiences differ from the authors, obviously. If you know absolutely nothing about dogs, then it's a good place to start, but don't take everything in this as gospel.
