Let's be honest, a book published in 2002 is going to sound a little dated when discussing memory formats and sharing digital images online (whatever did we do pre-Flickr???). But this digital photography guide is well-written and has a lot of great info on setting up your shots and simple digital manipulation. A great gift for a teenager getting their first digital camera, who probably knows everything about the Internet but not the first thing about photo composition.
