I was hooked on this book, but the ending left me feeling like I had just wasted a week of my life. Im not saying it wasn't an enjoyable read, but I would have liked to find out more in the end.

I was torn about this book. It was an interesting read, but not what I expected. I thought that when it talked about Jack being âthe Devil himself,â it was going to be more figurative, and less literal. I was not expecting the slightly weird, paranormal twist that it took toward the end. I also feel like the book could have been equally as effective (if not more so) if it had been less literal and more figurative.

The writing was really good. I really liked the voice of the main character. It was an example of GOOD Chick Lit in my opinion (not all of it is very well written).

I, like the others who have reviewed this book, was not sure what to do with the end. The last ten pages or so were really rushed and abrupt. That's part of the reason I didn't really think that the book as it stands now was very effective. I didn't know what I was supposed to do with the end, how I was supposed to interpret it.

The book is really good at first, but leaves a lot of questions unanswered. Seems like the author kind of gave up at the end.
