A famous author is killed by a woman who claimes he tried to rape her....but the eveidence seems to suggest something else. And all the main characters seem to have something to hide, including a judge with an agenda of her own! A very intense courtroom thriller!

This is my first Richard North Patterson book, and I really enjoyed it. However, it is not an easy read, by that I mean not one that you can read quickly. It is very indepth and involved, the story-line is complex and makes you concentrate. But if you like involved courtroom stories, this book is for you. I plan to read more of this author.

This was the third Richard North Patterson book I have read, and it is truly my favorite. kept me in suspense to the very end...
