In this mystery, Hamish must deal with being promoted and working with an assistant. A newcomer to the village and as Hamish sees him, he knows he bring evil and trouble to his peaceful village. He also discovers residents of the village have secrets he did not know about but he is discovering little by little while investigating the murder of the misfit newcomer.
