Eerily intense. The combined history of family and friends and how the lake brings them together in loss and sorrow.
Twisted and disturbing. Very engaging and keeps you on your toes through the whole book. You will continue to think about this story throughout the whole book. Excellent book.

Mixed feelings on this one. On one hand, I like the story taking place in the present and I also like the story in the past. What I didn't like was the supernatural aspect of it. I just seemed silly and unnecessary. I think I would've enjoyed it more if the story was put together without having that part in the book. It seemed like a simple way to tell you whodunit. Then the ending had me rolling my eyes. It was an okay read but not really for me.
