What an excellent novel by Francine Rivers. It hurt to read the secrets and discontent between four generations of women. Through one daughter's bravery and prayers, the deep pain came forth and healing was able to take place. I highly recommend this book and the earlier Marta's Legacy book. Tough to read sometimes, but definitely worth it.
Great, warm hearted read.
Great book

I have been waiting a year to read this book. I loved the first book and was not disappointed in this one. Full of real life issues between mothers and daughters. How we can build walls without even realizing it. How God works in our lives to straighten out our messes.

Part two of Marta's legacy. While I stayed up all night to finish this, I had a hard time keeping characters straight. Sometimes Oma was grandma, sometimes she was called by her real name. No spoilers here, while life isn't always perfect, I felt cheated because things seemed to wrap up too nicely. The first book in the series was wonderful- a full five stars. But this one gets 3.5.
This was just as good as the first book. Love Francine's books.
