I read a lot of Danielle Steel, but this book is more deep and profound than I have ever read from her. The subject is a form of child abuse, not very common. Being a nurse, I have seen it happen once. It is a very scary thing and very difficult to prove. I'm really not quite sure how I feel about this book. The outcome could have been worse. You will have to read it and decide for yourself.
