This collection of short stories mostly appeared in other collections - which is where I read 8 of the 12 stories in this compendium. Two are not part of any of her series, so are proof that she can write a tightly structured story line, even if some might want her to practice more. The other two tie into her recent Dark Hunter series.
I'm glad my library has a copy that I can borrow, since I've sworn off hardcovers. But there are other short stories not in this collection. So I hope she wites more so we can get another compendium.
