I always look forward to James Patterson's adult books, especially the Alex Cross Series. This one was a big disappointment, The story was blah boring, I plowed through, same ole, same ole. Did nothing for me.

It is so hard to give a poor rating to James Patterson

The Alex Cross series has been one of my favorites for years and I wait for each book to come out but this time? what awful writing Patterson did on this one

For me the story just wasn't making much sense and he tried to have just too much going on, 2 or 3 storylines going at the same time along with Bree becoming the Chief of Detectives, which I found was ludicrous the way that was introduced, sneaky fashion that her own husband wouldn't know about it? I don't think so

I just had a hard time keeping up all the characters and the storylines going everywhere and then throw in the pages and pages that are just nothing but just plain boring and doesn't get the story anywhere at all

Patterson what has happened to the sharp, edge of your seat thriller storylines? This one is a disaster!

ANOTHER EXCELLENT STORY ABOUT ALEX CROSS AND HIS FAMILY. VERY GOOD AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

One of Patterson's better ones in the latest Alex Cross novels,
although the "master" plan of the group of vigilantes is a little far fetched the other murder was entertaining. I will give this book kudos for not getting any of the pistol and revolver capabilities or functions wrong as he has been so apt to do in previous novels. Nice ending as far as the whole Cross family is concerned and it will interesting to see how that development plays out in coming novels. One thing that has been annoying however in all his Alex Cross novels is the continued use of the name Nana Mama. Its old and tiresome, just Nana would seem more appropriate.
