Caught in a lethal cross fire
As Alex contends with the sniper, Siegel, and the wedding, he receives a call from his deadliest adversary, Kyle Craig. The Mastermind is in D.C. and will not relent until he has eliminated Cross and his family for good. With a supercharged blend of action, deception, and suspense, Cross Fire is James Patterson's most visceral and exciting Alex Cross novel ever.« less
A quick read with well known characters and the return of a previously jailed villain, Kyle Craig. 2 serial murder cases are worked by Alex and Sampson, with the FBI joining the case of another DC sniper who targets those bigwigs who have done wrong but typically get away with their white collar crimes.
Story is quite predictable so not up to Patterson's high quality in my opinion. Alex finally marries Bree, but a super surprise comes during the honeymoon.
