I just finished this book and whoa how disturbing can one be? I remember seeing Keith Jesperson's daughter on Dr. Phil. She was on there for his reality series and was the woman who had a serial killer for a father. After seeing her on the show and then reading this book, I can't imagine the horror of knowing your own father could have committed such atrocities. Very disturbing, but like a train wreck, you can't keep your eyes off of it!

great story about a truck driver that murdered women while out on the road. He never got caught for quite a few years by his family and friends. the police finally caught up with him and he is in jail now. good read, pretty quick.

"Prize-winning journalist Jack Olsen, armed with unprecedented access to one of the most infamous serial killers in American history, provides a fascinating glimpse into the mind of a murderer in the killer's own words . . ."

Riveting read ... written in First Person tense, with additional family history documentation. Olsen reveals the mind of a killer and shows how easily one can be misled by a "helping hand", friendly face.

The story of a serial killer. Information was gleaned from interviews, diaries, court records, and from the actual killer. It is gripping yet disturbing to read.

Keith Hunter Jesperson, known as the Happy Face Killer, was a long distant truck driver who was responsible for the death of eight women over a span of many years in the early 1990s. With "I" the reader gets into Jesperson's head and sees the world of killer.Olsen shows Keith Hunter Jesperson for what he really is . True crime reader MUST add this book to their list.

The "Happy Face Killer" Keith Jesperson's 1st person account of his killings. The book has his 1st person account, his dad, personal letters, etc. It's chilling to read the crimes he committed & his life growing up & throughout his spree & well into prison.

I don't even know what to say, but, this book scared me more than others because it was written as first person. He just killed so easily and for fun and to release his stress. It shows just how easily a normal seeming person can be a psycopath. That's the creepiest part. How being in the wrong place at the wrong time, talking to the wrong person can be your last.
