I read a book about ten years ago about Christian financial planning. In the first or second chapter the writer told a story of a person who was convinced that keeping their money in the bank was unbiblical, so they went to the bank and took all their money out to give to the poor. Somehow or other, this started a run on the bank! I really want to find that book to read again, because I remember enjoying it so much. But it was a library book, and I can't remember the author or title. Can anyone identify this book? |

Well I don't recognize the exact book but you might look into Christian financial authors Dave Ramsey, Howard Dayton, and Larry Burkett... |

I've read Burkett and Ramsey, but I haven't heard of the middle one. |

Sarah, If you find out, please let me know! I've also read Burkett and Ramsey. What you describe is similar to what my grandparents did, but it was a one time thing and they didn't cause a run that I know of!! Anyways, God told them to give all they had to another couple. They gave all but $5 so they could keep their bank account open and they were blessed for it. |
