The ending was a bit sloppy and not quite believable. Plus, the rest of the book meandered a lot.
One serious problem I have with the story occurs when Bern tells Carolyn a copy of the LP "The Button Down Mind of Bob Newhart" is worth plenty. Since I have an original copy of this LP, I checked eBay and a copy sells there for only $19.99. So much for my fantasy of rolling in cash! :-)
