Presented an interesting relationship between two of the band mates. Lots of bisexuality and complicated triangles. Relationships became tiresome at times. It reminded me a little of VELVET GOLDMINE.

What a lovely, painful book. The prose is enchanting, but dark. It leaves bruises. The tone mixes nostalgia with remorse and regret, and it's one of the few books I feel does well with first person narration. This book reads like music, which is appropriate, because the subject is music. Just don't expect a light read, or a gentle one. This book is out to show hurt, and it's successful.
