Ludicrous vignettes often with grotesque O. Henryish twists. Our hero lives life as a series of never-ending "blind dates", or chance encounters. Now a lad stooping his mother every night. Now a perpetrator of practical jokes. Now an impersonator. Now a flim-flam artiste. A pesudo-agent of MI-6. Has the author become the extreme of Bradbury, or what? Of course, when the author reverts to his usual vulgar encounters, "bland date" will take on a new meaning. Humorous at times, crass at others, read this at your own risk.
