Ive liked the Berenstain Bears books since I was a kid, and that was a LONG time ago. While I dont specifically remember them having a Christian message, theyve always had good, wholesome messages. The stories are family-oriented, there is always a lesson to be learned, and everyone is respectful. This book is no different.
Its time for spring cleaning and the kids are given the job of cleaning up the playhouse. They get sidetracked by toys laying around, while their parents are working hard. It doesnt help that the playhouse is covered in spiders. YUCK! Papa comes around and cleans away the spiders so the kids can get back to work.
And the lesson is that, while the work itself may not be enjoyable, after the work is done, they get to enjoy the clean playhouse!
