The Beauty Within by Marguerite Kaye
Princes of the Desert (Armstrong Sisters) Book 4
Lady Cressida Armstrong is considered the plain sister, and a bit of a bluestocking as well. At six and twenty she has refused to marry, preferring her independence. To keep her from interfering in her younger sisters season, she is sent to the country home to play governess for her four half-brothers.

Giovanni de Matteo has made a name for himself in England as an artist. His latest commission is to paint the four spoiled Armstrong boys. Determined to be a successful artist, he paints what the people want to see, rather than from his heart. He has lost something within his art because of this, but Cressie seems to bring it back to life. Giovannis quest becomes to show Cressie who she really is as he paints her, yet, he keeps his own secrets hidden.

Two unlikely people coming together to bring out their inner beauty. The author brought the characters and their emotions to life. As Cressie begins to see herself through Giovanni's eyes, it was unique how she notices others differently and the way she blossoms under the artists brush.

Book two, Innocent in the Sheikhs Harem and book three, The Governess and the Sheikh are stories about Cressies sisters, they take place in Arabia.
