Couldn't get into this. Was supposed to be a memoir about the author's beautiful grandmother, and ended up being a history lesson in her family tree and pottery making.

A behind the scene look at daily life. Accented by unforgettable vignettes. This is not chick lit, it's an honest portrait of rural, factory America in the Great Depression. Loved it!
Sometimes hard for me to follow, but still an interesting look at the author's grandmother's life.
