Frances and Thelma are badgers and best friends, but sometimes, Thelma doesn't act like a very good friend. Despite her mother's warnings, Frances continues to associate with bossy Thelma. One day, Frances reveals her dream of owning a china tea set, but Thelma's trickery might derail Frances' dream.

I thoroughly enjoy reading this book to children - toddler and preschool girls especially love it! A great lesson without being preachy and a realistic resolution make this children's classic a keeper.
