I haven't read this book in years...but back when I was a baseball fan I know I enjoyed it. From the cover...Welcome to the hardest-hitting traveling circus in the big leagues-the modern day Yankees. Through seasons of catastrophe, high comedy, low trechery, and championship baseball, Nettles and Reggie, Winfield-and-the-Seagull, Billy, and the Pine Tar Incident. And throughout it all, above it all, roars George Steinbrenner, who never learned how to lose.
