Truly disappointed with the start of this new series. Unlike other reviewers, I was bored with a main couple I couldn't connect with, grew impatient with their rambling dialogues along with their personal reflections that seemed to repeat themselves. I kept waiting for that something more, an added spark of excitement. I had hoped it would improve the further I read, but unfortunately Emma's "awakening" simply wasn't engaging nor thrilling.
