The book contains hundreds of full color close up pictures of the different birds found in the western part of the country. These are cross referenced with a detailed summary of each birds description, nesting habits, range, etc. We found this to be the best 'pocket sized' reference book of its type.

One of the best of its size I've seen. The pictures are really acurate.
