Alex has a family member murdered which kicks off his involvement in the case but puts him "off" his game. Alex's special connections to govt agencies help him work the case. Good story with political intrigue due killer having ties to White House. House of lust business gets busted so some intense sexual torture discussed which may turn some readers off. Bree is part of the Cross household now and helping with a critical family crisis.
