This book was a pleasant surprise. It was very suspenseful! Evelyn is an aging mother of a successful child. Her husband is also successful as a psychiatrist. Evelyn gave up her dream of being an artist to be a mother and wife.

She learns that her husband is having an affair when he is involved in a car accident along with the other woman. Evelyn then goes Fatal Attraction on the other woman's husband.

Alternating chapters tell Evelyn's story leading up to and after the accident. This format works; this book will keep you turning the pages.
