Maggie (man shy after years of emotional abuse from her father and her ex-husband) is struggling to keep her ranch afloat as a rival rancher tries very hard to get her to fail or sale - to him. The last thing she wants in her life, or so so thinks, is a man - a good looking man.
Landon is trying to run from the facts of his past believing that he really has no future. Fate steps in when he rescues Maggie from the unwanted attentions of a man. Soon he is helping to rescue her ranch but longing for, yet running from, what he believes he does not deserve.
A heartwarming HEA story that takes some twists and turns to arrive at that happy ending. A new author to me but I will look for more of her books.
