I liked this book, but had to re-read the ending twice. The characters in it were all flawed to some extent...even Bee who really could have saved Andrew if she had tried. Sarah also was greatly flawed; an unfaithful wife to Andrew and a lover to another man she failed to show any real commitment to either of them and her child with Andrew, Little Charlie does not seem to arouse much in the way of motherly instincts in her. Her lover, Lawrence is also flawed because he also had a weak commitment to his marriage and family and is more interested in Sarah for sex than love.
Little Bee is the big loser in this book.
