My opinion is neutral. Plastic templates included. Easy to read instructions.
I'm posting it - not because I don't do stars but because I think there is an easier way.
Instead of cutting the pieces out - thus having to sew on the cut bias, I prefer to do the sew half square triangles then trim to fit the exact shape I need.
This wastes some fabric, but the pieces come out much better since there is no stretch caused by sewing on the already cut bias.
If you hand cut the individual pieces then hand sew them, then you absolutely need these templates.
