This book has a really great story line, excellent plot! It is a slow read but it picks up in the last 75-100 pages. I always wanted to know what was going to happen next to the main characters and the writing is so detailed it transports you to the planet Atlas and lets you live out the journey right beside them.

Creepy! I liked it and I will read more from this author. It reminds me a little of Stephen King's "The Mist" only here we have darkness-Pure, light suffocating darkness. The style of writing is one to where you live the moments with the characters and feel the fear with them. I couldn't put it down. The book was good fun!

The first book of the series, couldn't put it down! I can't wait to read the rest.
Since it is YA material it is a good fast read. Enough detail for you to see the mental picture of fights, spells, wizards and realms. Anyone looking for a good fantasy read will not be disappointed!

This was a wonderful read! It did remind me of another story I shall not mention, but it has its own twists and turns and magical allure. This book has earned a place on my permanent book shelf and I look forward to reading other stories by this author!

Not at all what I expected. If it wasn't for the vivid details of torture and gore it would've been a children's book

Cute poems by some of the best! My children love this book and has me reading it at least once a week. The poems are easy to relate to for children in grade school and are funny as well.

Mystery of 2012: Predictions, Prophecies & Possibilities

I was disappointed with this book to say the least. As anyone who reads the " 2012 books" knows, there are a lot of the New Age theories that go with the whole 2012 idea. I'm not a believer on any of those theories and think a lot of them are extremely far fetched. It seemed to me that the majority of this book and it's essays fell in line with the New Age possibilities. There were only a couple of essays that I thought had any substance and grounding which one was in part one and the other in part two. The other 24 essays were just a bunch of New Age mumbo jumbo (which is great if you like that kind of stuff)!

I started reading this book to my children when they where toddlers. Not only is the Lord's Prayer forever in their minds, but the pictures that went along with it helped them to understand what it means.

Great story! Full of fun and action from the beginning, I couldn't put it down! A fun ghost story in a religious setting. A Jewish summer camp that a girl didn't want to go to soon has her trying to figure out a 72 year old puzzle that involves a maze, ghosts and disappearing children. A great fast read- because like I said, you can't put it down!!

One world government. One world bank and currency. One world religion and one other-worldly man ruling all of creation! How far would you go and much would you risk to stop the end of the world?

Even though this book was written purely for entertainment some of the similarities of it's world and ours made it all the more frightening. A wonderful, well written story that can't be put down! It has it all- spirituality, the supernatural, horror, comedy and romance.
Brilliant!

Although this was an interesting story, it didn't really pick up until the last 75 pages. I was also expecting something along the lines of terrifying and ghoulish with shock treatments abound (which is what is written on the back cover). I was deeply disappointed. I was left at the end of the book saying "is that it"?

This is an extrodinary book that tells the life of a wonderful man that changed the world of animal husbandry. Being an avid animal lover and working to save the lives of many unwanted animals I watched all of Steves t.v. programs. He did so many great things and learning how it all started and what happened along the way was very inspiring. This is great read for anyone who loves animals and/or anyone inspired by great, world changing deeds.
