Even though there were some lovely moments in "Wishful Thinking", I was extremely disappointed in the overall story.

Philomena's has a temperamental fairy godmother who purposely misinterpreted wishes...annoying. Philomena is engaged to a man who is obviously a major jerk but put off breaking off with him because she has "invested five years of her life"...frustrating. And Philomena can't see that her best friend is the perfect guy for her and almost looses out on being with him...very very frustrating.
