Like the sequel, the story is confusing with lots of side references with no clues. A difficult read, although the kitties are fun.
The book was a nice change of pace. It was an interesting story from a cats point of view. There were several plot twists. It did seem a bit drawn out.
Might be worth reading, but I couldn't get into it at all. I'd recommend Tailchaser's Song instead if you want to read a cat story.
