This is the first Max Brand western I have read and I loved it. I can't wait to read more of them now. I'm pretty picky about my westerns. Some of the western writers I like are Greg Matthews, David William Ross, Michael Blake, Lucia St Clair Robson. So Max Brand is on my list now.
