A very long book to read. I enjoyed it for the first 10+ Chapter, but then the author decided to skip ahead 12-13 years in Spooner's life the gradually (chapter by chapter" tell you what happened during those years. A little confusing, to say the least.
Anyway, once I got back on track (that took about six chapters) and understood what was going on, it got interesting again.
The ending was not EXACTLY what I expected, because the author left things hanging at the end and I ended up asking myself "What the HxxL just happened?" I am still a little confused, but I did finish the book after 3 weeks or reading a few chapter at a time.
Some will like the book, some won't. I am somewhere in between (I would not read it again).
