I just loved this book! I was a nice quick read. It was one of those books you just cannot put down.
She'd been stranded by a snowstorm with nowhere to turn. But when all seemed lost, mom-on-the-run Janette Black saw the sign for Wild West Protective Services and found Dalton West.
The loner of the West clan had no time for love and family. But protecting was in Dalton's blood and he knew when a woman carried secrets. Running from the law, Janette is scared and desperate to find shelter in a snow storm. She must protect her baby from his own father. But cops hang with cops and when she finds out the relative of the only man she is inclined to confide in is one of them, she realizes she has to keep her mouth shut. But he's getting closer and her life is in danger. Falling in love was certainly not part of the escape plan!
