This book was my number 2 resource (2nd only to the Word of God), in navigating the experience of betrayal, separation and healing. I was sure that Debra knew my story personally as she wrote such raw and vulnerable things relating to her experience. She draws on her faith, but it's not a push for converting anyone. Her aim seems to me to be sharing her story and how she sought help and healing and eventually re-entered her marital relationship out of readiness and willingness to move forward. She so empowers women to individual healing through counsel, self care and loving herself.
I'd post mine for someone else but my copy is so highlighted, dog-eared and tear stained--it will remain on my shelf to pull down when I need a reminder of why I stayed in my marriage.
