A very convoluted mystery with murdered bodies showing up everywhere, and Fidelma came close to being one of them. But the murders are tied into a conspiracy involving more than one state in Ireland.
Of course, Fidelma unravels it all in the end to almost everyone's satisfaction. Still, her brother wishes it had ended better.
