The beauty of a Lowell book is I always learn something new even while enjoying a facinating plot and entertaining characters. This book does all that and more. Don't know how I missed it the first time around but I'm thankful to this book club for bringing it to me.

This book is well-written and held my interest. It also had great background info on the Anasazi and portions of the West. A good read.

This is one of her earlier books published under the name Ann Maxwell.
She definitely has improved over time. Her later ones are much better.

Elizabeth Lowell is another favorite. Always excellent. This one proves the old adage that no matter what, kin is kin.
